The BER Certification process generates an Advisory Report which outlines where improvements can be made to improve the BER rating. A BER Cert lasts for 10 years but can be updated at any point by a newer Cert. The SEAI registration fee per BER is 30euro.
What upgrades are you envisaging? Depending on the improvements, I would suggest a pre & post BER.
The quote below is based on supplying both, assuming the improvements are within the envelope of the dwelling and do not involve extending the property.
It is inclusive of tax and two registration fees.
